Both companies really pulled it out of the ‘body’ bag this halloween and made a hauntingly good effort for our ‘scarefest’ event to raise vital funds for a charity close to our hearts here in Milton Keynes.
First and foremost was the fancy dress competition, a complete mix of scary and also hilarious outfits ranging from a Mexican taco, ted, lots of vendetta masks, some characters from a Tim Burton film, various zombies, some questionable choices for halloween outfits and a couple of surgeons who looked like they may have been a bit scalpel-happy: the list is endless. But what can be said is that we are so proud that everyone made and effort and contributed to the theme of the day.
Next up we saw some apple bobbing challenges, but the tanks were a bit larger than normal which made it very difficult, especially those who didn’t want to get their hair wet! Pretty much everyone was soaked and almost nobody got an apple!
The Mummy challenge was next and again all four teams really ‘wrapped that up’ with some unreal toilet roll wrapping skills. We’d like to stress that no toilet roll was wasted it was later turned into papier mache sculpture of Boris Johnson – that is a lie.
A fang-tastic day was had by all, amazing efforts and besides all of that, we managed to raise a whopping £910 for Willen Hospice! Well done everyone – we are so proud of what we can achieve when we all pull together!
