We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Band 7 CBT Therapist to join our mental health team.
The successful candidate will deliver evidence-based CBT interventions to individuals experiencing a wide range of psychological difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the mental health of the local community, working within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group CBT sessions to clients
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ mental health needs
- Develop and implement tailored CBT treatment plans
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and provide ongoing support
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
- Liaise with other mental health professionals, GPs, and services as required
- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in CBT
Qualifications & Experience:
- A recognised qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Accredited with BABCP (or working towards accreditation)
- Experience delivering CBT to individuals with a range of mental health conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
