National Locums are working on behalf on of an NHS trust based in the Midlands looking for a locum Consultant in Cardiothoracic Radiology.
The Radiology department based in an NHS trust in the Midlands are looking for a locum Consultant in Radiology specialising in Cardiothoracic Radiology to enhance an existing team of 19 WTE Consultant Body Radiologists within a department of 48 WTE Consultant Radiologists. There are currently 4 other Consultants in the department with interest in Cardiothoracic imaging as well as a team of Advanced Practitioner Chest Reporting Radiographers and Consultant Radiographers.
The requirement is for 5 days a week for 3 months initially. Core working hours will be 09:00-17:00.
The job plan will include:
- Thoracic reporting
- Cardiac CT reporting
- Thoracic intervention.
- HRCT reporting
- Lung and ILD MDT
- Acute CT reporting.
- CME
- On-calls.
In addition to core thoracic radiology service, there is scope to engage further in subspecialty interest such as lymphoma (haematology) imaging and MDT and skin imaging and MDT.
You must hold full the following in order to be considered:
- GMC license to practise.
- Full right to work.
- NHS experience in Cardiothoracic Radiology.
- Specialist Registration in desired.
