National Locums are working on behalf on of an NHS trust based in Scotland looking for a Consultant in Public Health with interest in Gastrointestinal Infections.
Public Health Scotland are looking for an experienced Consultant in Public Health with specialist experience, expertise and knowledge of Gastrointestinal Infections to strengthen their Clinical and Protecting Health Directorate.
This is a full-time based on-site in ether Glasgow or Edinburgh. They are flexible employer and are happy to discuss hybrid and part-time working models, however some on-site presence is essential for this role. This is a permanent role, however an initial locum position can be considered.
You must hold full the following in order to be considered:
- Postgraduate qualification in Public Health
- Full right to work.
- Minimum 6 months sector experience in health protection.
- GI infections experience is essential.
In terms of professional registration, they will accept the following routes:
- GMC registered professional – full GMC license to practice with entry on the specialist register in Public Health.
- GDC – inclusion on the specialist list ideally in Dental Public Health. Applicants on the specialist list for any other specialty will be considered, however must have the equivalent training and/or appropriate experience of public health practice.
