Dental Nurse

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Dentist during a wide range of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and smooth operation.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in line with infection control protocols.
• Take and process dental X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures.
• Manage patient records, ensuring all information is accurately documented and up-to-date.
• Educate and support patients with oral hygiene advice and post-treatment care instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, ensuring that all dental rooms are well-stocked and ready for use.
• Handle administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient billing, and inventory management.

Requirements:

• Dental Nurse qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, diploma, or equivalent).
• Registration with a relevant regulatory body (e.g., GDC for UK applicants).
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Excellent organisational abilities, with attention to detail in both clinical and administrative tasks.
