Responsibilities:

• Assist dermatologists and nurses with clinical procedures such as skin assessments, wound care, and minor surgical treatments.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed.
• Apply dressings, remove sutures, and provide aftercare advice under supervision.
• Maintain and clean clinical equipment, ensuring infection control standards are met.
• Support patients by providing basic skincare education and guidance.
• Accurately update patient records and assist with administrative tasks as required.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), preferably in dermatology or a similar clinical setting.
• Knowledge of wound care, dressings, and minor dermatological procedures is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical environment.
• A caring and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Flexibility to work varying shift patterns.
