On behalf of a hospital-based on outskirts of London, I’m looking for an experienced Infectious Diseases Locum Consultant who could be available for 3 months, starting from mid-October.
This is a locum position with a possible extension.
- The Locum will be involved in overseeing the Infection prevention and control (IPC) service of the trust as well as Clinical Microbiology duties
- On calls, 1 in 4, including weekend work (NON residential cover)
- Great location with local accommodation available if required
- 45 min drive from Luton & Milton Keynes
- 1hr from Northampton, Bedford, NW London
- Easily accessible by public transport & car
- Less than 1 hour from the international airport
Requirements:
- GMC, entry on specialist register will be advantageous but is not a must
- Minimum 1 year of NHS experience on Consultant level (candidate must be able to work independently)
- Must be onsite Mon – Fri
