Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant in Acute Medicine to join our team in Wales. This full-time position is available from 24th June 2024 to 14th July 2024, with the potential for extension. The role involves performing post-take rounds in the emergency department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality acute medical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct post-take rounds in the emergency department.
- Provide high-quality acute medical care to patients.
- Develop and implement individualized management plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in case discussions and departmental meetings.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and best practices in acute medicine.
Requirements:
- Medical degree and full GMC registration.
- Extensive experience in acute medicine at the consultant level.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
