We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry for a 3-month assignment in Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for older adults with mental health conditions.
- Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Provide clinical leadership to junior doctors and allied healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with primary care, community mental health teams, and social care services.
- Ensure compliance with local and national mental health regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- GMC registration with a license to practise.
- CCT in Old Age Psychiatry (or equivalent)
- Experience in working with elderly patients in inpatient and community settings.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-working skills.
- Right to work in the UK.
