Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality compassionate care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and manage patients’ vital signs, ensuring prompt intervention when necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment options and care plans to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Perform assessments, document patient history, and track changes in patient condition.
• Assist in emergency situations with effective decision-making and supportive measures.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the UK (ICU specialty certification preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in critical care nursing, particularly within the ICU setting.
• Strong knowledge of health care practices and protocols.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying shift patterns and changing environments.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
