Job Description
As a Mental Health Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our patients’ mental and emotional well-being. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support tailored to each individual’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and supportive care to individuals with mental health conditions.
- Assist in the implementation of care plans and therapeutic activities.
- Monitor and report patients’ progress and any changes in their condition.
- Support patients in their daily activities and promote independence.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
Requirements
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Experience within a mental health setting.
- Up-to-date EPP (Exposure Prone Procedures) blood reports.
- A genuine passion for mental health care and helping others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
