We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer specializing in Obstetric or General ultrasound to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, ensuring patient comfort, and providing accurate imaging results to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform obstetric or general ultrasound examinations as per departmental protocols.
- Utilise advanced ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Evaluate and interpret ultrasound images, providing preliminary findings to physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all procedures and findings in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure and answer any questions to alleviate concerns.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards, including equipment maintenance and infection control.
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices through continuing education and training.
