We are currently seeking skilled Theatre Practitioners with experience in Orthopaedic Scrub to join dynamic surgical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in orthopaedic surgeries, providing expert scrub support.
- Ensure the operating theatre is set up and maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other theatre staff to provide seamless patient care.
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments and equipment specific to orthopaedic procedures.
- Adhere to infection control practices and surgical protocols.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Theatre Practitioner or Scrub Nurse role, with a focus on orthopaedic surgeries.
- Valid NMC/HCPC registration (or equivalent where applicable).
- Strong knowledge of orthopaedic procedures, instruments, and techniques.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team and under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
